commvault sap hana cross machine system recovery

data and log backup files of EED sap system  from ebeccdev(name of the server in commvault) will be recovered to the new installed sap hana system RRR.
commvault daki ebeccdev ismine ait EED sid ine ait backuplardan restore yapılacak.


we install a new sap hana system RRR in other server.
in server which the sap hana system RRR runs , 2 folders(opt/hdbconfig/  are needed
mkdir -p /usr/sap/RRR/SYS/global/hdb/opt/hdbconfig/

the below file is also
 cat /usr/sap/RRR/SYS/global/hdb/opt/hdbconfig/param
CvInstanceName
Instance001
SrcCrossClient
ebeccdev

set permissions
chown -R rrradm:sapsys /usr/sap/RRR/SYS/global/hdb/opt/

Install commvault for sap hana on new linux system which has sap hana RRR.
SAPHANAEXE Directory dialog, type the path of the /usr/sap/RRR/SYS/global/hdb/opt

this new RRR hana system has the below backint settings now.
Yeni kurulmuş RRR sisteminin backint ayarları aşağıdaki gibi oldu.






 Now we are ready to start recovery from sap hana studio for RRR, we change the source system to from RRR to EED.
